History: The Battle of Verdun was one of the most disasterous battles of the First World War. It was a deadly standoff between the French and German armies over a small town with very little strategic importance. What made Verdun so important to the combatants was probably the fact that the small town located on the Muese had very signifiacnt historical meaning to both France and the Prussians(Germans). Verdun had been the battle ground between both of the nation in many wars in the past, and the stubbornness of the armies made Verdun into one of the most blood-filled conlicts in history.

Project: FLM is recreating this famous battle for the popular RTS game Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. We are taking every stride to keep the feel as accurate and realistic as possible, while at the same time as playable and enjoyable as possible.
